Role:

GE Capital International, Equity is the private equity arm of GE in Europe, currently managing ~$300MM assets, both direct investments in companies (~10 accounts) & 3 NPLs portfolios. In addition, we also manage one publicly listed investment. Investments are monitored through direct involvement with management teams including board representation for larger accounts. The current mandate is to maximize the value of the portfolio through active monitoring & value added actions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist team in all aspects of portfolio management • Actively support quarterly portfolio reviews and monthly dashboards • Run valuation of investments on a quarterly basis running DCF, Comps models • Utilize research tools effectively to obtain market information and data including generating comparable • Perform stress test and financial analyses as needed • Assist team in managing direct equity investments to ensure optimal account performance and compliance with legal agreements and internal policies • Support implementation and execution of risk policies and internal controls • Standardization of existing documentation and processes

Qualifications:

• Masters/ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field from a Tier 1 University • Excellent analytical skills • Ability to multi-task • Proficiency in Excel with strong financial modeling skills • Unrestricted authorization to work in the EU • Excellent written and communications skills and fluency in English • Team player • Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members in an independent work environment • Self-starter, motivated individual with strong work ethics
