Job Description


NBC Universal’s international operations outside the US and Canada include film and television distribution, home entertainment distribution, channels, film and television production, theme parks and news operations. The company is led by Kevin MacLellan, Chairman. MacLellan is responsible for oversight of all NBCUniversal International’s businesses, as well as identifying and executing international growth opportunities for both NBCUniversal and Comcast Corporation. With more than 2,200 employees across 34 countries, NBCUniversal’s international portfolio consists of international channels delivering quality content to 176 territories across EMEA, Latin America and Asia; television production labels in both UK and Australia; a library of 4,000 feature films and 75,000 TV episodes for international television distribution; direct film distribution operations in 11 countries; direct home entertainment distribution operations in 7 countries with licensee relationships covering approximately 55 additional territories; CNBC International, which broadcasts across EMEA and APAC; Parks & Resorts operated through license agreements in Singapore and Japan; and an international NBC News team based in London.


Employee communications: Inform e-newsletter and Inform Highlights video newsletter
• Work with divisions to collate and write material for Inform and Inform Highlights on a monthly basis
• Assemble the ‘Coming Soon’ section detailing NBCUniversal movies, TV shows and home entertainment products for Inform

Digital Assets: digital screens
• Monitor and manage digital screens, including content updates, formatting and any technical issues
Liaise with the Film, TV, Home Entertainment, News and Parks divisions to update content

Social Assets: Enterprise Social Network
• Provide on-going support for our internal enterprise social network, Wave, including troubleshooting issues for employees, liaising with key stakeholders
• Identify popular content and update our community Overview page to encourage sharing and engagement
• Support campaigns to encourage Wave use across the business
• Provide support for planning and day-of logistics for major staff events including Town Halls, Christmas Parties, Leadership events etc.

General Administration
• Assist in the collation of daily news headlines for distribution to Leaders via the Daily Newsflash email
• Prepare and prep documents, reports and PowerPoint presentations for events and meetings
• Assist in general research
• Ensure all team information is kept up-to-date including agendas, presentations, agency briefs, planning documents etc.
